Cass County Authorities Investigate Inmate Medical Emergency

An inmate at the Cass County Jail is in stable condition after authorities found her unresponsive in her cell.

Authorities say 37-year-old Lisa Howell of West Fargo was found at about 11:35pm.

Deputies say they tried life-saving measures until an emergency crew arrived.

Howell is still recovering at the hospital and the cause of her collapse is under investigation.
