The Salvation Army Brings Colleges Together
NDSU, MSUM and Concordia College set aside rivalries to come together for those in need.
Mascots and student athletes from all three schools united to ring bells for the Salvation Army in front of Scheels All Sport.
All funds raised during the Mascot event will be used to fund the programs of the Salvation Army.
“It’s just really fun to see people,” said Mandy Mercil, a student at Concordia. “There’s a lot of people here for game day, a lot of people show their school loyalty and a lot of old Cobbers come through. So it’s just fun to see the community come together like this.”
They’re still looking for volunteers for the Red Kettle Campaign from now until December 24th.
