Arts and Crafts Keep Kids Out of the Cold
When it’s this cold it can be hard to find ways to entertain the kids, but The Fargo Park District is trying to make it a bit easier.
In the warm RDJ Rec Center, there aren’t any concerns over frostbite, just how to decorate your art projects.
Kids could make sled ornaments out of popsicle sticks, color pictures, make their own Santa or put together a collage.
The Fargo Park District holds these events once a month.
“Right now we offer these so that you have something to do on a Saturday afternoon,” said Fargo Parks District Program Coordinator, Sam Larson-Frobig. “It’s an open house format from 1 to 3 pm. There are always four unique projects and people can come and spend a little time indoors because today is a little chilly to be outside.”
