The Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch gains a years worth of toiletries to start off 2017 thanks to a big donation.
The Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead has gathered different items to donate to the organization since the end of November.
The group collected more than 2,500 items including deodorant, toothpaste and lotion.
HBA also donated holiday gifts based on a wish list made by children at the ranch.
The organizations first connected over the summer and plan to keep working together in the future.
“Everybody is excited because of where it’s going and how they are helping, and it’s an easy way for them to help,” exclaimed Tom Spaeth with the HBA of Fargo-Moorhead. “Everybody enjoys giving to something like this. The Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is a great place for young kids to be that can’t be with their families.”
Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is always accepting donations of any kind.
You can drop items off at the thrift store locations around town.
