UND to Offer Employee Buyouts in Light of Budget Cuts

They're calling it the "Staff Voluntary Separation Incentive Program"

UND will offer another round of employee buyouts in order to deal with additional budget cuts.

The so-called “Staff Voluntary Separation Incentive Program” offers eligible staff members an incentive package based on salary and years of service if they choose to leave UND.

In exchange for ending their employment, applicants will receive a payment of one week of base salary for each year of service not to exceed 50-percent of their annual pay.

UND will accept applications for “separation” through February 15th.
