Frostival Returns To Fargo

2017 Frostival kicks off in downtown Fargo

FARGO, N.D. — It’s warmer than usual this January, but that’s not stopping the 2017 Frostival, which began in downtown Fargo where families joined together for a fun-filled night.

Everyone was given a build-your-own s’mores kit and carriage rides. They also had a cocoa competition where nine cocoa stations battled for the golden mug. Local band Tripwire also stopped by to provide live music for the night.

“I just saw that gentleman smiling and that’s my favorite part because all the hard work and all the late nights and all the things the variables,” said Stephonie Broughteon, Frostival Sports and Event Manager. “To see people are here having fun with their families, that’s what it’s about, and to get our community out and excited about winter. It’s great to see people here already early.”

Frostival will continue tomorrow morning with events all around the F-M area starting at 8:30.
