Legion Baseball Roundup: West Fargo Wins Pair in FM Tournament

West Fargo downs Tri-City in extra innings.

MOORHEAD, Minn. – West Fargo legion baseball opened up the 45th Fargo-Moorhead Legion Invitational tournament with a pair of wins on Thursday at Matson Field. West Fargo defeated Mandan 9-1 in five innings in its first game. They later downed Tri-City 4-3 in extra innings.

West Fargo is in action on Friday in the tournament at 3:30 p.m. against Fergus Falls at Jack Williams Stadium and at 8:30 p.m. against the Moorhead Blues at Matson Field.
