ND Prep Football: West Fargo Holds off Bismarck, Returns to Dakota Bowl
West Fargo will play Minot in the Class AAA state championship game.
WEST FARGO, N.D. — West Fargo remains undefeated on the season and advances to the Dakota Bowl after defeating Bismarck 29-22 on Friday night.
Packers got on the board first with a 47-yard touchdown run by Andy Gravdahl, but West Fargo trailed 8-7 at half. In the second half, Alexander Sell punched in pair of touchdowns on the ground to help give the Pack the lead 22-15.
In the fourth, Gravdahl hit Joe Pistorius on a 41-yard touchdown to give West Fargo a 29-15 lead. The Packers held off the Demons from there to advance to the Class AAA state title game.
Andy Gravdahl threw for 242 yards and a touchdown for the Packers in the victory. While Joe Pistorius had 100 yards receiving and a touchdown for West Fargo.
West Fargo will play Minot state in the Dakota Bowl after the Magicians upset Bismarck Century 14-10.
