Beltrami County Man Identified in Fatal House Fire
Oscar Eckstrom, 76, died in the fire
BLACKDUCK, Minn. — A man has died in a house fire in northern Minnesota.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says neighbors reported an explosion and a house engulfed in flames shortly after 3:30 this morning southwest of Blackduck.
Oscar Eckstrom, 76, died in the fire.
He was the only one living in the home in Hines Township which was destroyed.
The sheriff’s department and state fire marshal’s office will investigate.
