Jamestown Woman Sentenced After Fatal Crash in Bismarck

Voldness admitted to using meth before the deadly crash

BISMARCK, ND — A Jamestown woman has been sentenced to four years in prison for causing a fatal crash in Bismarck.

Darci Voldness, 29, pleaded guilty to negligent homicide and ingesting a controlled substance in September.

Authorities say Voldness made a U-turn in front of a motorcycle being driven by 33-year-old Denver Glas in August 2016.

The 33-year-old Linton man was thrown from his bike and died.

Voldness admitted to using meth before the deadly crash.
