Miss America Raises Money for Charity at Fargo Clothing Store

Bismarck-native Cara Mund stopped by Laurie's clothing in south Fargo to raise money for Children's Miracle Network

FARGO, N.D. — The reigning Miss America Cara Mund, a native of Bismarck, stopped in Fargo to raise money for charity.

Laurie’s, a fine clothing store in south Fargo, invited the public to a meet–and–greet with Cara.

The stored accepted donations and gave 20 percent of their sales to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Cara says she feels honored that the community came out to support a cause she cares deeply about.

“This is just great.  The proceeds for Children’s Miracle Network stay right here in Fargo–Moorhead, so that’s what makes it really unique,” said Mund.  “I’m just really grateful to be a Children’s Miracle Network ambassador and to have the support of Laurie’s as well as the Fargo–Moorhead area behind me.”

Cara represented Laurie’s and modeling some of their apparel at the Christmas Gift Fashion Show.
