Scheels Donates $500,000 to The New Life Center

The New Life Center will be renovating their space while also making new additions to the property

FARGO, ND — The New Life Center has been awarded a half a million dollar grant from the Scheels Foundation after completing their challenge of raising the same amount by December 16th!

The money is going towards their Capital Campaign called Mission 2.0.

The New Life Center will be renovating their space while also making new additions to the property.

The executive director says this gives them an opportunity to change the future of homeless individuals seeking a place in this community.

“The impact that the Scheels organization and the Scheels family has had in our community and in the larger community, I think we would be amazed at the impact and the reality is, folks who are homeless and hurting, they are welcome here and we want to make them feel welcome and they are a part of our community,” said Rob Swiers, the New Life Center Executive Director.

The New Life Center says this partnership with Scheels and this donation will change the future of their program for the better.
