After one year off, North Dakota State football is back in the National Championship game
FRISCO, TX — The march to a sixth FCS Football Championship title is underway as the NDSU Bison football team officially landed this morning in Frisco, Texas.
The players boarded their flight early this morning.
They walked into Hector International Airport wearing their NDSU apparel and with their game faces on.
Many other fans, along with the marching band and students, also boarded flights bound for Frisco.
Hector is expected to be full of Bison fans heading down to Texas for the next couple of days in advance of Saturday’s game.

We’re LIVE in Frisco, Texas, getting you ready all week for the National Championship game between the Bison and James Madison.
Today, the Herd arrived to the Lone Star State to cheering fans as they entered the team hotel.
It’s going to be all business from here on out for North Dakota State as they go for their sixth national title in the last seven years.
We caught up with the mayor of Frisco, Jeff Cheney, and he said the city is glad to have the Bison back in town.
“You know, as a college football fan myself, I went to the University of Texas and I’ve never seen college football fans like North Dakota State,” Cheney said. “It is incredible. We love it when y’all are here, just so gracious. We love seeing you at our restaurants, at bars and everything. It is just such a great environment. We’re glad to have you guys back. Definitely y’all bring the energy level up, no doubt about it.”
