President Trump Names January 19 “National Sanctity of Life Day”

Vice President Mike Pence also spoke to rally members from the Rose Garden

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Trump has declared today as “National Sanctity of Life Day.”

The president spoke to March for Life supporters who were on the National Mall promoting the pro-life movement.

Mr. Trump appeared on video feed as he spoke to a crowd from the Rose Garden.

He says he will fight to continue to defend the first right in the Declaration of Independence…the right to life.

“That is why we march, that is why we pray, and that is why we declare that America’s future will be filled with goodness, peace, joy, dignity and life for every child of God,” President Trump said.

Mr. Trump is the first sitting president to speak directly to participants in the March of Life rally.

Vice President Mike Pence also spoke to rally members from the Rose Garden.
