Victims Identified in Fatal Head-On Crash in Grand Forks County

According to authorities, Flatten and Ysteboe both lived at the Hatton Prairie Nursing Home

GRAND FORKS COUNTY, N.D. — Authorities have identified the victims of a fatal head-on crash in Grand Forks County.

Alpha Flatten, 97, and 59-year-old Lynette Ysteboe, both of Hatton, died after the car they were riding in, being driven by 59-year-old Scott Grund, was hit head-on by a car being driven by 19-year-old Brenden Myron of Northwood.

Authorities say Myron crossed the center line.

Flatten and Ysteboe both lived at the Hatton Prairie Nursing Home, according to authorities.

Grund and Myron suffered minor injuries.
