Bison Basketball Working to Create a ‘Finished Product’ By March

NDSU Travels to Oral Roberts, Denver this week.

FARGO, N.D. — On the court, the Bison men’s basketball team will try to get back above .500 in the Summit League with a pair of games on the road this week.

The herd battle Oral Roberts (9-17, 3-6 SL) and Denver (10-13, 4-5 SL) after losing back-to-back games to SDSU and USD. North Dakota State continues to struggle to put together full games, outscoring South Dakota by 16 in the second half last Saturday only to fall because they trailed by 20 earlier.

With three weeks till the conference tournament in Sioux Falls, head coach Dave Richman says there is still time to get this unfinished product to where they want it to be.

“I think perspective is easy to talk about, but when you’re living it it is not always fun,” Richman said. “I just counted the days and we’ve got plenty of time to get better if we understand that we gotta go out and work hard. When we work hard it is not going to guarantee us anything but we gotta keep on it. Be willing to keep working hard no matter those circumstances.”
