Man Shot And Killed During Pursuit Identified
Chase Happened Wednesday In Stutsman County, North Dakota
STUTSMAN CO., N.D. — Authorities have identified the man killed by an officer yesterday near Medina.
He is 27-year-old Michael Schieffer of Jamestown.
Authorities say Schieffer fired at officers Wednesday during a pursuit on Highway 281 north of Jamestown.
When his vehicle got stuck and he fled, he fired at officers again and they fired back killing him.
No officers were hurt.
The BCI is investigating.
