Man Killed in Accident with Snow Plow Has Been Identified

The victim has been identified as Steven Newark, Jr., 35, of Fargo

REYNOLDS, N.D. — North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the man killed after crashing into a stopped snow plow on I–29.

He is 35–year–old Steven Newark, Jr. of Fargo.

The crash happened around 7:30 Tuesday morning about a mile north of Reynolds.

The plow was stopped along the interstate with a North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper and all of their emergency lights were activated.

The trooper was investigating a separate crash when Newark drove his pickup into the back of the plow.

Roads were icy at the time.  The accident remains under investigation.
