Golden Drive Homeless Kids Gets Ready For Their Big Community Event

There will be plenty of activities for kids

WEST FARGO, N.D. — A golden event has been in the works for months, and tomorrow, Sept. 29, is the big day.

Golden Drive Homeless Kids is getting ready for their sixth annual community event and bike run. They want to raise awareness for kids experiencing homelessness in the F–M area.

There will be lots of activities like inflatables, games and a silent auction. Tours of fire, police, and ambulance vehicles will also be available.

“This is a day designed to show you this is all about the community. The community is what’s making this happen. To bring everyone together, to connect these people directly to making a difference in a child’s life, a homeless child,” Sue Baron, founder of Golden Drive Homeless Kids, said.

Golden Drive says they want people to bring canned goods, baby supplies, or hygiene products as part of admission.
