Police unaware of other school threats after male juvenile was taken into custody on Friday in Devils Lake

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (KVRR) — Police in Devils Lake say they are unaware of any other potential threats after a male juvenile was taken into custody on Friday.

They had received information about a future threat to one of the schools in the Devils Lake Public School District on Friday and after an investigation deemed the threat credible.

The juvenile was identified and is in law enforcement custody.

Due to privacy rights and the ongoing investigation they cannot release further details at this time.

Police say they are working closely with the DLPSD and will continue to do so for the safety of all students, faculty, and community members.
