Police responded to the report of a stolen vehicle outside of Snarr Hall at MSUM just after 7:30pm Tuesday
MOORHEAD, Minn. – Moorhead Police are continuing to search for the suspect involved in the Tuesday evening vehicle and gun robbery incident on the MSUM Campus.
Police responded to the report of a stolen vehicle outside of Snarr Hall just after 7:30pm.
When police arrived, the suspect left the vehicle and headed northeast.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black jacket and a blue-hooded sweatshirt.
The owner’s 9 millimeter hand gun, which was inside the vehicle prior to the incident, is believed to be with the suspect.
MSUM and Concordia were contacted about the situation.
One MSUM student said she didn’t want to leave her dorm room this morning until it was light outside.
“I was kind of like shocked because nothing has happened like this in the past year or so since I’ve been here,” MSUM student Emily Worm said. “So, I was like oh wow and so my friend and I kind of locked ourselves in our dorm, we were kind of freaked about it.”
If you have any information on this case, you’re asked to contact Moorhead Police.
