Grand Forks K-9 Officer Makes Major Drug Seizure

Police say K-9 Shelby and Corporal Andrew Ebertowski were assisting Grand Forks County Deputies on a traffic stop n the 4300 block of Gateway Drive when Shelby "alerted" to the smell of illegal narcotics.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A Grand Forks police K-9 and his officer handler are credited with helping make a large drug seizure in the city over the weekend.

Police say K-9 Shelby and Corporal Andrew Ebertowski were assisting Grand Forks County Deputies on a traffic stop n the 4300 block of Gateway Drive when Shelby “alerted” to the smell of illegal narcotics.

Three people were arrested for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Police say a large amount of drugs, including methamphetamine, oxy pills, marijuana and approximately $3500 in cash were seized.
