DOUGLAS COUNTY, MN — A block heater may have started a vehicle fire in Douglas County.

Small kids woke their parents after spotting the fire in their driveway in Brandon, Minnesota, west of Alexandria.

Fire crews were called just before 6 a.m.

The vehicle is a total loss but the detached garage it was parked in front of only has moderate smoke and fire damage.

Officials believe the cause of the fire was electrical.
