Frisch Ready to Get Started with Playoff Contender after Trade to Force

Frisch was traded from the Green Bay Gamblers, who are 8th in the Eastern Conference

FARGO, N.D. — The Fargo Force are back home on Friday after playing three on the road last week.

The Force are hoping to gain separation in the standings, sitting in fourth place in the western conference at the moment.

They have been making moves too.

Fargo traded for UND commit and former Moorhead spud Ethan Frisch.

Frisch was playing for green bay when he got word from the fighting hawks that they want him to play for them next season.

UND head coach Brad Berry wanted him to play for a playoff contender to get that added experience, so that’s how that trade came about, according to Frisch.

But, with 16 games left in the Force season, he knows he doesn’t have much time to ease into things with a new team.

“I think the biggest challenge, with playoffs approaching, is to just hit the ground running and to create relationships with the people here,” Frisch said. “I can’t take 20 games to get into my stride here and be ready, because that’s playoff time. We’ve got to go now, so it’s very important that I hit the ground running.”
