Minot Community Members Evacuate Homes After Series of Explosions at Nearby Construction Site

Authorities say four propane tanks caught fire


MINOT, N.D. — Minot community members are forced to evacuate their homes following a series of explosions at a nearby construction site.

Four propane tanks caught fire Friday night at the Trinity Medical Park construction site, in southwest Minot. Some community members say the explosions shook their homes more than five miles away. Those who temporarily evacuated have since returned home. Authorities say no injuries were reported and they are investigating the cause of the explosions.
