4 Luv of Dog rescued the blue heeler puppy after its owner couldn’t afford the cost of emergency care.

The dog is suffering from some kind of lung trauma. It’s on a ventilator and requires ’round the clock attention.

So far, the intensive care bill has grown to around $11,000. 4 Luv of Dog has almost depleted its emergency fund and hopes to raise $5,000.

A veterinarian says the dog is making progress, but is “fighting for his life.”
