West Fargo Parks District Hosts Window Easter Egg Hunt

The event was meant to bring the community together when COVID-19 is keeping so many people apart.

WEST FARGO, N.D. – The West Fargo Parks District has a special event going on to help spread some cheer and joy before Easter.

They encouraged resident’s to hide Easter Eggs in their windows and doors as part of a scavenger hunt for parks district employees.

The event was meant to bring the community together when COVID-19 is keeping so many people apart.

People posted hints and riddles on social media to help the employees find what streets Easter eggs were located on.

“Now more then ever, with everything going on, it’s important to remember that even though we’re social distancing, that doesn’t mean we’re alone and we are all in this together,” said Katie Ettish, an Events and Communications Specialist for the Park District, “It’s really fun to walk through the neighborhoods and see everybody participating in the same activities at the same time.”

KVRR will be tagging along with the Parks District Tuesday night as the Parks District delivers prizes to randomly selected participants. We’ll have that story at 9:00.
