FARGO, N.D.–Hector International Airport is offering tips to safely travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Airport officials suggest using an airline app to check-in and turning on flight notifications to ensure you receive any flight delays or cancellations.

They also encourage travelers to arrive two hours early. They say that even though fewer people are traveling, some revised airport steps may take more time than usual.

A facemask is now required by airlines and approved by the TSA.

The TSA has also approved a 12 ounce container of hand sanitizer in your carry-on bag.
