Construction On Main Avenue Moving Into Phase 4

On Saturday everything from Broadway through the intersection of 8th street north and south will be fully open.

FARGO, N.D. — Project Managers with Dakota Underground say the construction being done on Main Avenue in Downtown Fargo has moved to Phase 4.

West of 10th street to University is now fully open.

Workers are recommending you still take the the detour on Main Avenue.

On Saturday everything from Broadway through the intersection of 8th street north and south will be fully open.

Everything west of 8th is still being worked on.

The project is replacing 50 to 60 year old underground infrastructure.

Progress is going very well and we appreciate everyone’s patience on this project and we are working diligently to get it done as fast as we can, Project Manager For Dakota Underground Jared Heller  said.

Next week workers will finish the pavement and start working on the sidewalks
