Police investigating teen’s death in Crookston

CROOKSTON, Minn. (KVRR) – Police in Crookston are investigating the death of a 16-year-old girl.

Shortly after 6:00 a.m. Monday, police responded to the 400-block of Summit Ave. on a report of an unconscious female possibly deceased.

Police say the teen’s death appears to be an isolated incident.  They say no other people were involved and there is no risk to public safety.

An autopsy will be conducted at the UND Pathology Center.
