One dead in house fire near Detroit Lakes

The blaze was reported shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday.

The Becker County Sheriff’s Office says the home had already collapsed by the time deputies arrived at the home on Hubble Pond Road.  The victim’s body was recovered after the fire was out.

Frazee, Wolf Lake, and Detroit Lakes fire departments responded.

A Deputy State Fire Marshal will help determine the cause.
