Police: Man threw rocks at bank windows, caused extensive damage

FARGO (KVRR) – Police say a man was arrested in Fargo Monday morning after he caused extensive damage to a Fargo bank.
Shortly before 8:30 a.m., police were called to Bell Bank at 3100 13th Ave. S. on a report of someone throwing rocks at the bank’s windows.
Forty-one-year-old Jeremy Wayne Peterson is being held for terrorizing, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, attempted robbery and assault on a security officer.
Police say Peterson never gained entry to the building, but caused between $10,000 and $15,000 in damages.
The bank’s drive-up is temporarily closed. The incident remains under investigation.
