Rep. Armstrong Introduces Biden Impeachment Resolution As Hunter Biden is Indicted

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KVRR) — — Hunter Biden’s defense attorney is responding to a new nine-count tax indictment filed in California by a special counsel as investigation into the business dealings of President Joe Biden’s son intensifies.
The new charges filed Thursday include three felonies and six misdemeanors. Defense attorney Abbe Lowell argues prosecutors bowed to political pressure in the case, which had been expected to end with a plea deal before it imploded over the summer.
Rep. Kelly Armstrong of North Dakota has introduced a resolution directing the Committees on Oversight and Accountability, Ways and Means, and the Judiciary to continue their investigations as part of the impeachment inquiry of President Joe Biden.
In a statement Armstrong said “the White House and multiple witnesses have repeatedly refused to cooperate with the investigation and have rejected subpoenas.”
He says the investigation has uncovered alarming details that demand further scrutiny.
Republican leadership believes an inquiry vote is necessary, accusing The White House of “stonewalling” their probe into the president and his son’s foreign business dealings.
