LIVE: She Overcomes Masquerade Fundraiser

We know there are some special challenges women leaders face that are different than other people’s.

But one of those challenges can come from inside the woman herself.

An organization in the metro’s looking to change that.

She Overcomes works with women leaders, founders and entrepreneurs to help them stop holding themselves back.

They invest capital, training and business mentorship to help boost the number of female-run organizations in our community.

For example, women executives in our country report a 75 percent rate of impostor syndrome.

So a new masquerade fundraiser is coming up next month to help raise money for the effort.

She Overcomes founder Melanie Iverson stopped by the Morning Show to talk about what drove her to create She Overcomes, the programming they’ve developed for their women participants, and why it’s so important now to take action to help create women-led businesses in our community.
