Body Recovered in Early Morning Camper Fire
MOORHEAD — The Minnesota state fire marshal is working to figure out the cause of a camper fire in which city fire crews discovered the body of an adult male
Moorhead fire and police departments responded with Sanford Ambulance to the call about a pickup fire in the 1900 block of 1st Avenue North at around 6:15 a.m.
As fire crews entered the mounted camper, they discovered the dead body of an adult male inside.
The body is going to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy.
The cause of the fire and the cause of death are both under investigation.
Moorhead officials are calling the case “very active” and say there is no further information available.
