Autopsies are in for Two People Found Dead in a Running Vehicle in Thief River Falls

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. (KVRR) — The autopsies are in for two people found dead in a running vehicle in Thief River Falls on January 22.

It was determined that both 28-year-old Kenia Vasquez Blandon and 27-year-old Alexander Gonzalez died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Authorities say there were no signs of foul play.

They were tipped off by two 911 hang up calls coming from 1209 Labree Avenue North.

Officers arrived to find Blandon and Gonzalez dead in the vehicle.

Their families are asking the community for help to return their bodies to Nicaragua.
