1 in Custody on Attempted Murder Charge

FARGO (KFGO) – A 26-year-old Moorhead man is in the Cass County jail facing an attempted murder charge after a shooting in Fargo early Saturday morning.

A spokesperson for Fargo Police says officers responded to the 1700 block of 15th Avenue S. around 2:30 a.m. on a report of a shooting.

They also went to a hospital where someone was admitted with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Investigators learned the victim and suspect, identified by police as Cordell McFadden, had an argument.

McFadden was arrested at Police Headquarters Saturday night.
