Apartment Fire Causes $200,000 in Damage, Forces Residents In Three Units Out

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — An apartment fire displaces residents in three units and causes around $200,000 in damage.

It was reported around 2 a.m. at 5050 Amber Valley Parkway South in Fargo.

Bystanders reported the fire was on a balcony of one unit.

Crews were able to knock down the exterior fire while additional units put out the fire inside the apartment and into the attic.

People in three units will be displaced for some time due to the fire and smoke damage.

Salvation Army and Red Cross are assisting.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
