UPDATE: Fargo Fire Department’s Fire Marshal says a fire at an apartment building November fifth was caused by someone improperly getting rid of smoking materials on a third floor balcony. FARGO (KVRR) – Fire heavily damaged a south Fargo apartment building Thursday. The fire at 137C Prairiewood Drive broke out shortly before 5 a.m. No injuries were reported. A Local Red Cross Volunteer Heads To Texas To Help After Hurricane Damage

FARGO, N.D.- Marcella Alvarez, a former Marine from Fargo, is heading to Houston. She will be help with sheltering. Alvarez has been volunteering with the Red Cross since January.
