Garage fire at Grand Forks’ Southwind Apartments
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A fire damages a row of garages in Grand Forks.
The fire department says it happened after 4 p.m. at Southwind Apartments, located at 2403 27th Avenue South.
Crews say heavy fire and smoke was seen coming from the eleven-car garage.
They were able to contain the fire to half of the garages.
The fire department is working with the apartment management and tenants to retrieve some of their belongings.
The cause is under investigation. No one was injured.
