LIVE: Goat Yoga
Wellness and cute critters? We're not maaa-aaad about it.
FARGO — Do you want to get someone’s goat this weekend?
Now’s your chance.
Of course, you’ll have to give it back afterward.
But you could get some serenity for yourself, while you’re at it.
They’re doing goat yoga in Dilworth at the Rail District, courtesy of That’s the Dream Farm and Yuj Yoga.
And they gave the Morning Show a little preview.
Farmer Dawn Robson says the goats have day jobs at the farm, eating the scrub taking over their shelter belt.
But they enjoy the yoga sessions as much as the humans do, often seeming to strike a pose themselves.
And the yoga instructors say the animal interaction is great for human wellness.
Previous goat yoga sessions over the past two years have featured practice with local veterans and chair yoga as well.
That’s the Dream Farm’s Dawn Robson and Yuj yoga instructor Allison Grippe, along with Big Boy the goat, joined the Morning Show for a live interview and goat yoga session to show us why it’s such a special way to connect with an underestimated species, as well as with your inner peace.
