LIVE: Apply for Adventure

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. — Summer is on its way out, fast, and that means it’s hunting season soon in the region.

But for people who are disabled, getting out with friends and loved ones into the field for a hunt can seem out of reach.

That’s where Options Outdoors comes in.

The nonprofit is celebrating their 29th yet of their Accessible Hunt, and applications for both hunters and volunteer helpers are now open.

Options advocate Heather Everson Zoomed in live to the Morning Show to talk about how they make hunts happen for folks who are wheelchair-bound, or suffering other physical or mental disabilities, and why you should consider volunteering for the event.
