Biker Injured During 9/11 Tribute Run, Highway Patrol Seeks Identity of Trike Motorcycle Operator

RANSOM CO., N.D. (KVRR) — North Dakota Highway Patrol is seeking a biker that was part of a Nine-Eleven tribute run this afternoon and caused another motorcyclist to crash near Fort Ransom.

The driver of a trike motorcycle passed Monte Rodacker of Jamestown with a group of other motorcycles at a high rate of speed.

The group suddenly braked on a curve in the road causing Rodacker to put on his brakes to avoid hitting them.

He was thrown onto the roadway and taken to Lisbon before being life-flighted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with serious injuries.

Rodacker was not wearing a helmet.
