Salvation Army Keeps People Warm For The Winter

Coat Drive

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Community members who signed up to fet a coat for the annual Salvation Army Coat Drive were able to pick it up this week.

The Salvation Army had several hundred coats to give back to the ones in need

An estimated 400 coats were said to have been picked up on Thursday, with still a few hundred left available.

With coats, hats, gloves, boots for both boys, girls, men and women there was something for everyone.

“It’s a great generosity and a wonderful community. That we keep families and children safe in this harsh winter season. And we’re just grateful for all the events that come through,” said Abe Tamayo, Major at Salvation Army.
