LIVE: A Hauntingly Beautiful Performance

FARGO — The time is coming t get a little silly, a little scary, and to get to hear the sounds of the Halloween season.

The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony is back with it’s “fun-size” concert series this Friday.

This one is themed “Spooktacular.”

The First Avenue String Quartet is performing pieces from pop culture like the Ghostbusters theme, “Edward Scissorhands,” and “Nightmare Before Christmas.”

You’ll also hear classical pieces including “Danse Macabre,” by Camille Saint-Saens.

The early show is child-friendly, and the late show is 21-plus, with a cash bar open.

Costumes are encouraged at both.

Two members of the string quartet joined the Morning Show to talk about some of their favorite moments you’ll hear at the show Friday at Dilworth’s TAK Music Venue, and to share some snippets as a sneak preview.
