Fargo Man Accused of Raping Woman at Fargo Hotel

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Fargo man is accused of raping a friend’s girlfriend at a Fargo hotel last Friday.

38-year-old Richard Natee is charged with gross sexual imposition.

Fargo Police were dispatched to a hotel on 14th Aveue South early on the morning of October 18.

Court documents reveal that the woman told police they had been drinking and Natee was in the room since he had no place to stay.

She says she was sleeping when Natee had sex with her without her consent.

Police say Natee appeared intoxicated and struggled to maintain balance during questioning and claimed the sex was consensual.

The victim was taken to the hospital for a sexual assault examination.

The investigation is ongoing.
