Red River Market wraps up tenth year
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – As October comes to a close the Red River Market wrapped up their season in Broadway Square.
Saturday was the final day of the market this year, and despite some cooler temperatures, people came out to check out local produce and live music.
It was the tenth year of the farmer’s market, and organizer Joe Burgum says that it has been a great year for them.
He added that more and more people are seeing the Red River Market as a vital part of the community.
“The tenth anniversary of the farmer’s market, it’s so fun to see just the energy that this event still has, and the value it creates for the community. Whether you’re coming to buy produce, or you’re visiting a friend, or maybe you’re thinking about moving to our community, the farmer’s market really is a flagship for us to be proud of.”
They will return with a couple of winter markets in February and March, those will be held at the West Acres Mall.
