Furniture Mission Hosts Musical Chairs For Charity

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — People went round and round a circle to raise funds for Furniture Mission of the Red River Valley.

The Musical Chair for Charity event is the first one hosted by the Furniture Mission to keep their mission of giving back to the community.

Since they started they have gifted 34,180 pieces of furniture to the community with over 1,000 households served.

The event has brought over sixty people to compete and become the musical chair champion.

“It was kind of a weird idea and we wanted to have a little fun. We wanted to have a fundraiser, we knew we wanted to have more things to invite people to, and thought well we work with furniture. Musical chairs seem like a wacky cool idea, let’s see if it works,” said Jordan McCormick, Executive Director.
