Santa Sets up Shop in Fargo

Santa Village, organized by the Fargo Park District, transports families to a real winter wonderland.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)  – Children are, of course, likely going to write down their Christmas wishes in letter form and have that sent off to the North Pole.

However, if they want some face time with Santa himself, there are few better places to do so than in Santa Village.

Located in Rheault Farm, the immersive experience is free to enter and explore. Different buildings host different activities, from cookie decorating to checking out model trains. And, of course, there’s the ever-present queue to visit the big man in the red suit.

His better half – Mrs. Claus – says she sees the joy across the faces of everyone who enters the village.

“It’s not just the kids. It’s also the parents and the grandparents,” she said.

“I think it’s just there’s so much joy this time of year, and seeing the place where it all comes together and our community comes together and really expresses all that together, it’s just amazing.”

The village will be open from 1 to 6 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday, the 7th and 8th.

It then expands its hours to 1 to 7 P.M. on the 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd –

with two nights of 4 to 7 P.M. on the 19th and the 20th just to really make sure everyone has a chance to swing by.
