Driver arrested for DUI following crash into creek in Logan County, N.D.

LOGAN COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR-KFGO) – Two men were injured in a crash near Napoleon, North Dakota after the driver lost control, ran off a road, and overturned into a creek around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
North Dakota Highway Patrol says that around 10:30, emergency workers responded to a call by family members near Beaver Lake State Park. Family and emergency responders located the driver, 54-year-old Larry Magstadt, and his passenger, 54-year-old Dustin Moch, within an hour.
Magstadt reported he lost control of his truck on a gravel road and started to spin before going off the roadway. The vehicle went down an embankment and ended up in Beaver Creek.
Both men were treated at the scene by Wishek Ambulance. Moch was transported to Wishek for treatment for non-life-treating injuries.
Magstadt was also treated on scene for injuries but was not transported. He was arrested and charged with DUI and failing to give immediate notice.
